Commando shooters recorded an impressive victory in the Inter Regiment Combat Fringe Meet- 2014, organized by Sri Lanka Army Small Arms Association at the Diyatalawa 1000m Firing Range and carried away the Championship.The near two-week tournament was competed by many regiments. Beating all rivals, Commando shooters emerged victorious.
Major General A.M Perera, Commander, Security Force Headquarters Central (SFHQ-C) graced as the chief guest at the awarding ceremony and Staff Sergeant K.A.N Rajapakshe was awarded the Best Shooter prize after he recorded 242 points out of 250 marks.
