50 school students of low-income groups learning in J/433 Kadeikadu Grama Seva Division in the Security Force Headquarters- Jaffna (SFHQ-J) area received school accessories and toys as incentives on account of Sinhala and Tamil New Year during a ceremony at 55 Division Headquarters premises.
Organized with the support of all units under the SFHQ-J, the items thus distributed exceeded the value of Rs 25,000/=. The occasion organized on the directions of Major General Udaya Perera, Commander, SFHQ-J, was attended by Major General A. Kariyakarawana, General Officer Commanding, 55 Division.
Senior officers and a large gathering of parents attended the ceremony.
