Pirith chanting, Bodhi Pooja and a colourful procession (Perahera) marked the 5th anniversary of planting a sapling of the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhiya inside the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT).
The ceremony started off with Gilanpasa Bodhi Pooja Perahera and the all-night Pirith chanting ceremony, followed by offer of Heel Daana (breakfast) to the members of Maha Sangha, the following morning.
General Officers Commanding, Brigade Commanders, Battalion Commanders, officers and other ranks attended the event.
