Temporary homes, built by Army troops for resettlement of 139 families in Navarathnapuram, Sampoor were vested in those people on Sunday (24) during a ceremony.

A Hindu ‘Deva Pooja’ conducted at Sampoor Kali Kovil started off the day’s ceremonies. Army troops on the directions of the Commander of the Army and Security Force Commander - East constructed those houses.
General Officer Commanding, 22 Division, 224 Brigade Commander, Army & Navy senior officers, state officials and community leaders attended the occasion.
