Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) with the objective of enlightening the world on the spate of development roles Wanni troops are rendering at civil, social, cultural and different levels, together with the news from SFHQ-W troops, launched its new website (www.army.lk/sfhqwanni) on Monday (25) during a simple ceremony at SFHQ-W.
Major General Boniface Perera, Security Force Commander - Wanni logged on to the new website of his Headquarters in the presence of a gathering of several General Officers Commanding, Brigade Commanders and senior officers serving the SFHQ-W and made the official inauguration.
The new website carrying details on the SFHQ-W flag, areas of responsibility, history, roles and tasks, welfare roles, training, sports, SFHQ-W Commanders, information on 21, 54, 56, 61, 62 Divisions and a collection of photos and videos, expects to devote more pages on different Army-engaged provincial development roles in the future.
