623 Brigade troops, extending their helping hand towards betterment of the lives affected by recent floods in Konwewa, Veherawewa, Kohombagaswewa and Kambiliwewa villages under No 5 Buddangala Grama Niladari, conducted a mobile clinic on Friday (15).
The arrangement, organized on the direction of the Security Force Headquarters, Wanni saw a few hundreds of villagers were examined and provided medicine as prescribed by the medical team, headed by Dr Senerath Dissanayaka and the pharmacist, Mr Niranga Nimeshan of Padaviya Base Hospital.
Army troops, led by 26th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment under 623 Brigade facilitated the conduct of the clinic at this place. Drugs to the value of Rs 10,000/= were given away to the patients during the clinic.
