172 students of Thachchanamaradamudhu School in 613 Brigade area recently received a large stock of school books, pairs of shoes and other essential items from the 61 Division.
The event took place at Thachchanamaradamudhu school with the participation of Dr Sudarshani Fernandupullai, Member of Parliament (MP), Brigadier A. Kariyakarawana General Officer Commanding, 61 Division, Brigade Commander 613 Brigade, Civil Affairs Officer, Senior Army officers, Jeyraj Fernanopullai Foundation members and a large gathering of civilians.
