In the Vesak Zone organized by the Security Forces Headquarters-Jaffna, the creative lanterns produced by the 551 Brigade were adjudged the best and awarded handsome prizes on the final day (May 8) of the Jaffna Vesak Zone.
A brief ceremony in connection with the closure of the Jaffna Vesak Zone saw all groups of students who contributed to the success story of the arrangement receive special appreciative gifts from Major General Mahinda Hathurusinghe, Commander Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) at the same occasion.
