Major General L.B.R. Mark, Commander, Security Forces Headquarters, Mullaitivu (SFHQ-MLT) recently handed over the ownership of a new house, built by the Army on behalf of a needy family at Alampil, Mullaitivu.
The construction of the house, sponsored by General Officer Commanding, 59 Division, Brigadier G.R.H. Dias and soldiers serving the Division was made possible with the labour support, given by Army engineers and soldiers.
Clergy, Major General L.B.R. Mark, Brigadier G.R.H. Dias, State officials and several others attended the simple ceremony.
