Troops of the 52 Division in Varani, Jaffna recently opened their newly-built lecture hall during a brief ceremony, held at 52 Division Headquarters.
Major General Mahinda Hathurusinghe, Commander, Security Forces Headquarters, Jaffna at the invitation of Brigadier W.A.V.A Sudasinghe, General Officer Commanding, 52 Division ceremonially opened the new lecture hall, a long-felt need of the 52 Division troops.
It was purely built by engineers of the Army with labour support, extended by 52 Division troops within a matter of a few months. The inaugurating ceremony was attended by many senior officers and all ranks in the Army.
