General Khalid Shameem Wynne NI (M), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan, now in Sri Lanka, paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya at the Army Headquarters this morning (20).
During the brief meeting, both of them exchanged views on matters of mutual interest in a cordial atmosphere and other issues of bilateral importance.
Towards the end of the interaction, mementos were exchanged between the two as tokens of goodwill. The visiting General Khalid Shameem Wynne before his exit from the Army Headquarters signed the visitors’ book at the Commander’s Secretariat as a token of memory.
