Security Forces Headquarters, Jaffna (SFHQ-J) commanded by Major General Mahinda Hathurusinghe, appreciative of the contribution of the MoD Seva Vanitha Branch towards the ‘Api Wenuwen Api’ house construction project for War Heroes, recently donated a sum of Rs 2 million when its Chairperson Mrs Ioma Rajapaksa visited Jaffna.
All the troops serving the Jaffna peninsula contributed to the project in view of its noble role, being played by the MoD for the welfare of soldiers, either fallen or went missing and their families.
Major General Hathurusinghe after delivering the cheque to that value to Mrs Ioma Rajapaksa during a brief meeting at Jaffna Thalsevana Holiday Resort offered his best wishes on the projects, being implemented by the MoD Seva Vanitha Branch.
