651 Brigade troops under 65 Division with the sheer idea of raising living standards of the people in 651 Brigade areas distributed a large stock of carpentry and masonry tools, electrical appliances, sewing machines, etc among civilians recently during a brief ceremony at Mulankavil People’s Ground in Kilinochchi.
Kelaniya 306 B 2 Lion Club sponsored all donations, including the gift of five push bicycles to Army troops serving the 651 Brigade area.
Members of the Kelaniya Lion Club, Major General A.W.J.C. de Silva, Commander, Security Forces Headquarters, Kilinochchi, General Officer Commanding 65 Division, Commanding Officer at Mulankavil Navy Camp and Civilians in the area participated in the event.
