With the support given by the government, troops belonging to 57, 65 and 66 Divisions under the Security Forces Headquarters, Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) recently offered their labour and expertise to build 15 new houses for the resettled in Mayanuwar, Annaivilundankulam and Pallikuda areas respectively.
Those permanent houses were constructed at selected places in cooperation with civil authorities considering their requirements. In the same line of spirits 66 Division troops constructed a pre-school building for kids in Paramankirai area and handed it over teachers as a Christmas gift on Monday (Dec 26) during a simple ceremony.
The pre-school building was named as Maniththalai Kids School at the request of teachers and civilians in the area.
