One More Disable War Hero to Have his House Completed

To be in line with the Seva Vanitha Army Branch’s (SVAB) ongoing project for construction of partly-built houses of permanently disable War Heroes, the SVAB is now geared to commence completion of the house, belonging to Private R.M.R.S Bandara, 7 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) who sustained permanent disability during a terrorist attack at Mallavi.

On the instructions of Mrs Manjulika Jayasuriya, President, SVAB, a special representative visited the War Hero’s house and found out the most wanted help for its completion. Accordingly, the SVAB is to get electricity and water supplies to his house after completion of the house is done with the SVAB support.

The Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) Headquarters, being the closest Regiment in the area to the disable War Hero’s residence, has undertaken the remaining construction work with the supply of its soldiers and engineers.
