Singer (Pvt) Ltd, showing its gesture of goodwill and appreciation over the ‘Abimansala’ project at Anuradhapura for permanently disable War Heroes, offered its generosity to the Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) with three new refrigerators, worth over Rs. 150,000/=. The ‘Abimansala’ is to serve as a rest and recreation centre for totally dependent War Heroes.
Mrs Manjulika Jayasuriya, President, SVAB receiving the donation at the SVAB Headquarters this morning (16) thanked Singer (Pvt) Ltd representatives for their thoughtfulness and assistance extended to the project.
Director Operations at Singer (Pvt) Ltd Mr Premalal De Silva in the company of Deputy Sales Managing Director, Mr Nandana Wijesundara, Sales Manager, Mr Ruwan Singhabahu and a few other representatives made the donation for use at ‘Abimansala’ in the future.
Mrs Rani Jayathilake, Secretary SVAB, Mrs Kumuduni Wanigasuriya, Public Relations Officer SVAB and a few more SVAB members were present at the occasion.
