Welikanda Maha Vidyalaya library on Thursday (22) received a stock of 176 books, useful to students following coordination done by Lieutenant Colonel W.R.J Makawita, Civil Affairs Coordinating Officer at the Security Force Headquarters-East (SFHQ-E).
Seen as another humanitarian project for the benefit of students living in the area, the project has got the blessings of Major General Lal Perera, Commander, SFHQ-E.
