7 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) troops serving the Wanni region with the sponsorship received from a private donor laid the cornerstone for construction of a new home for a needy family with two disabled children, resident in the general area of Bogaswewa on Wednesday (17).
Under the guidance and coordination of the Commander Security Forces-Wanni, Major General Hemantha Bandara, raw materials for the construction of the proposed house to Mrs J.M.S.Jayalath and her two disabled children are to be sponsored by one Mr. P.B. Kulathunga of the Colombo Auto Mobile Company Ltd.
The brief inaugural ceremony, headed by the General Officer Commanding 56 Division, Major General Nandana Dunuwila and attended by the Commander 561 Brigade, Commander 563 Brigade, Senior Officers, distinguished guests and the villagers of Bogaswewa got underway amidst 'Seth Pirith' chanting. jordan release date | Air Jordan
