The certificate awarding ceremony of the basic English Course of the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) concluded on Tuesday (19) presenting certificates to 19 course attendees.
Began on 13 February 2019, the course was conducted under the close supervision and guidance of the Commander, Security Forces - Wanni, Major General Kumudu Perera.
The course included grammar for effective communication and upgrade of reading, writing, listening and speaking skills of Officers under different formations of the Army troops serving their areas.
After different tests (Assignments, Presentations and Written Tests), Captain D.M.L.M Bandara of the 2 Battalion of Mechanized Infantry Regiment became the first in order of merits in the course.
The second place was obtained by Second Lieutenant K.V.R.T Katuwagala from 7 Battalion of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment while the third place went to the Second Lieutenant H.M.K.S Bandara of 5 (V) Battalion of Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment.
Colonel Anil Peiris, Colonel General Staff of the SFHQ-W attended as the Chief Guest in the closing ceremony and gave away certificates. Several Officers were present at the location. trace affiliate link | jordan Release Dates
