Empowering the troops to be in line with modern day requirements and fast changing commercial scenario, all Security Force Headquarters around the country on the directions of the Commander of the Army, have begun to conduct introductory lectures on Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) and its related financial operations.
150 other rankers and 20 officers serving the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) on Wednesday (27) listened to Mr S.P Nimal Jayaratne, Area Manager of the Stock Exchange. He gave a detailed lecture and explained how the Stock Exchange behaves in Colombo.
Meanwhile, at the invitation of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) Mr Niroshan Wijesundara, Head of Marketing Development at Anuradhapura stock market branch.
100 Army personnel took part in the programme and learnt the history of the CSE and its evolution while receiving knowledge on investment prospects in the CSE.
The lecture was conducted at the invitation of the SFHQ-KLN.
