Major General Priyantha Perera Commander Security Forces- Wanni made a formal visit to the 65 Division HQ in Thunukkai and its under Command Brigades and Battalions on Saturday (09) after its re-deployment.
The visiting Commander was honoured in a Guard Turnout at the Headquarters 65 Division and invited to plant a sapling at the Division premises by the General Officer Commanding of 65 Division Major General Tikiri Dissanayake. Thereafter a briefing on role & tasks of the 65 Division was conducted by the GOC, followed by a troops address and field visits to Headquarters of the 651 Brigade, Battalion Training School and 19 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI).
