Major General Boniface Perera, Commander, Security Forces Headquarters, Wanni (SFHQ-W) recently made a formal visit to the 561 Brigade Headquarters and areas coming under it.
During the visit, Major General Perera spoke to the troops serving the headquarters and planted a tree sapling before he visited the Kanagarayankulam Sri Sambudda Viharaya.
During the same tour, the new Sergeants’ Mess of the 16 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment camp under the 561 Brigade Headquarters was also opened by the visiting Wanni Commander.
General Officer Commanding 56 Division, Brigade Commanders, Senior officers and several others were associated with the tour.
