A large gathering of civilians and members of the Wanni Security Forces joined together recently at Etambagaskada Sri Sudhamarama Viharaya and invoked blessings on the country and the President after observing an “Adhistana Pooja” amidst chanting of ‘Seth Pirith’.
The arrangement, organized by the Security Forces Headquarters, Wanni (SFHQ-W) as directed by Major General A. K. S Perera, Commander, SFHQ-W was attended by all representative members of the Security Forces serving the Wanni region.
The temple’s incumbent together with several other leading monks in the area led the religious observances.
