Mr. Prasannjith Fernando, an employee of Sri Lankan Airlines with the assistance of the Commander 651 Brigade, donated school items and clothes to the people in Vennankulam area during an event, held at the Vennankulam Pre School on 19 February 2015.
A total of 28 packs, each containing school stationery and shoes, were distributed among the school children. Also, some elders in the Vennankulam area received ready-made garments.
Troops of 15 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, along with their Commanding Officer, Civil Affairs Officer, 651 Brigade along with the Brigade staff and troops and Mr. Prasannajith Fernando, along with his family members attended the event.
