VAVUNIYA: ON information received by the VAVUNIYA Police, a special search operation was conducted by the Police in SKANDAPURAM area and recovered fifteen bombs this morning (24) around 7.40 a.m..
The bombs, each weighing about 9 kg, had been hidden in two barrels and buried in the area when the Police found them.
A detonator cord was also found from the scene.
