Major General A.M Roe CB, Chief Executive and Commandant, Defence Academy of the UK, along with a delegation called at the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) - Sapugaskanda and met the DSCSC Commandant, Major General Lasantha Rodrigo on Wednesday (2).
The cordial discussions that followed focused on the co-hosting of the South Asian Conference of Commandants 2023 (Feb 13 - 16) by Sri Lanka and UK in order to gather modules for defence education and exchange of professional views and experiences. After the briefing, he also made a field visit inside the DSCSC Premises.
An exchange of mementoes brought the discussions to an end. Major General A.M Roe CB also did not forget to leave his signature in the DSCSC Visitors’ Book.
The Defence Academy of the United Kingdom provides higher education for personnel in the British Armed Forces, Civil Service, other government departments and service personnel from other nations.
