Udayakattu Kids to Get a New Pre-School Building

Mullaittivu-based Udayarkattu South village where some 3299 civilians of 991 families have been resettled is to receive a new spacious pre-school building, instead of the existing temporary one.

Following initiatives, taken by 7 Gemunu Watch (GW), 683 Brigade and 68 Division troops on the directions of Major General Jagath Dias, Commander, Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT), the foundation-stone laying ceremony for the new construction took place on Monday (19) morning.

As the auspicious minute struck, Major General Jagath Dias laid the cornerstone, in the company of Mr Nawanidan, SLFP organizer for the area, several teachers and other invitees.
