A group of Army personnel of the 3 (V) Battalion Gemunu Watch under the 613 Infantry Brigade of the 61 Division under the Security Force Headquarters-West recently provided their assistance for painting and renovating of four buildings of the Sambodhi Elders' Home at Wehella, Dickwella and cleaning the surroundings at the request of the Elders' Home administrators during six days (23-28 January 2023).
The Commander Security Forces-West directed the troops to launch this community project under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of the 61 Infantry Division. Brigade Commander of 613 Infantry Brigade along with the Commanding Officer of the 3 (V) Gemunu Watch closely supervised the project.
