Sri Lanka Army’s Security Forces Headquarters - West with the aim of reducing spread of Dengue, recently organized a project in Polgasovita area on the instructions of the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) in Homagama.
Over 750 houses were inspected with the participation of several Public Health Inspectors of Homagama MOH, Grama Niladari Officers and some civilians in respective areas.
In addition to that other Dengue awareness programmes were conducted by troops of the 142 Brigade of 14 Division and 121, 122 Brigades of 12 Division on November 19 in Kamburupitiya and Sooriyawewa areas.
