A stock of toys, donated by Trinity Army Association of Trinity College, Kandy were distributed among 100 school students at Mullankavil National School by troops of 15 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) and 11(V) Gajaba Regiment (GR) of the Security Force Headquarters, Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) on February (3) during a brief ceremony.
The stock of toys, worth about Rs 4 lakhs was given to students during a simple ceremony, organized by troops of 15 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) and 11(V) Gajaba Regiment (GR) at the school premises.
In addition 11 GR troops pocketed out their money and gifted each student who added aesthetic features to the event with Rs 1500 on the same occasion.
Commander, 651 Brigade, Commanding Officers and Officers of the 651 Brigade, Chairman Trinity Army Association Mr. Dushanda Silva, members of the Trinity Army Association, Principal, Teachers and a gathering of students at Mulankavil National School along with their parents participated in the event.
