Officers from Army, Navy and Air Force on Friday (22) listened to a special lecture on “Higher Education, Science and Technology-Essentials for Military Strength” by Professor Atta Ur Rahman from University of Karachi, Pakistan at the Army Hospital auditorium, Narahenpita.
More than 200 officers from tri services participated in it. Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Daya Rathnayake has directed to organize this lecture.
Major General Ubaya Medawela, Commander, Security Force Headquarters West (SFHQ-West) delivered the vote of thanks at the end of the important lecture which enlightened the officers very much.
