An awareness workshop on ‘Alcohol and Drug Prevention’ was conducted on 26-30 March under the guidance of Major General Shiran Abeysekara, Director General, Directorate of Rehabilitation.
The lecture was conducted by Mr. Chamara Pradeep Karunarathne who is a instructor at National Dangerous Drugs Control Board and Mrs. J.A. Iresha Sewwandi. Those lectures were conducted at Mihindu Seth Medura, Suwasahana Centre, Regiment Headquarter Battalion Gajaba Regiment and Regiment Headquarter Battalion Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment.
The programme provided Officers and Other Ranks a thorough knowledge on drugs and alcohol.
