Army musicians staged a few more singing sessions near storied flats at Royal Park condominium in Rajagiriya on Tuesday (14) with the objective of challenging boredom and providing mental relaxation to the public who are home-confined due to prevailing COVID-19 epidemic threat and curfew hours.
Members of the Army Beat Group on the guidelines given by Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army and Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID -19 Outbreak, have been staging those musical talents amid cheers of those occupants during the past few days.
Civilians from their balconies were seen waving hands and clapping the artists who were there to entertain them at this critical hour of our society.
