Sri Lanka Army’s 222 Brigade Headquarters at Jayanthigama, Kantale with the aim of further promoting public relations, recently organized a series of G.C.E (O/L) examination, related educational seminars for two days.
With the coordination of the 222 Brigade Headquarters, these seminars took place at Kallar Somadevi Vidyalaya, Trincomalee during November 24-25.
Several hundreds of those candidates from Somadevi Vidyalaya, Somapura Vidyalaya, Kavanthissapura Vidyalaya, Dehiwatta Vidyalaya, Neelapola Vidyalaya, Suriyapura Vidyalaya and Mahaveligama Vidyalaya attended the seminars, contributed by two lecturers of the University of Sri Jayawardenapura who are experts in Science and Mathematics and a few more veterans.
Sponsorship, extended by Serunuwara People’s Bank provided model sets of question papers to all attending candidates free of charge. Troops of the 22 VIR Regiment serving the area provided refreshments and lunch to all the attendees.
