Sri Lankan Troops Train Indonesian Forces in Lebanon

Sri Lankan Army troops serving in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) conducted a special training session for Indonesian peacekeepers on 28 August 2024.

This session, initiated at the request of the Indonesian Contingent Commander, was designed to enhance safety and security protocols, with a specific focus on handling Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).

The Sri Lankan team imparted their expertise and experience, aiming to equip the Indonesian troops with the necessary skills to manage these critical threats effectively.
