Sri Lankan Students in Australia Offer Medical Help to War Heroes

YOUNG Sri Lankan students from Victoria, Australia, concerned about recuperating process of War Heroes in hospitals after they sustained serious injuries during the recently-ended military operations, set an example by donating four new suction machines to Military Hospital, Colombo recently.

Official documents, related to the donation were recently offered to President, Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) Mrs. Anoma Fonseka by one of the organizers of the donation, Mr. Asanka Silva. The donation was coordinated by Mr. Lalith Munasinghe who was also present on the occasion. 

Mrs. Fonseka who received the friendly gesture of the Sri Lankan students in Australia spoke high of their thoughtfulness for their country while they were studying in a foreign country and   profusely thanked them. All four suction machines are worth about Rs one million.
