Sri Lanka Army Triumphs in Tug of War at 13th Defence Services Games

The Sri Lanka Army won the Tug of War Championship at the 13th Defence Services Games (DSG), held at the Sri Lanka Navy Base in Punewa on 27 September 2024.

In the men's 640 kg weight class, Army competitors triumphed over the Sri Lanka Navy in the finals. Meanwhile, in the women's 560 kg weight class, Army players secured the championship by defeating their Air Force counterparts. Both Army teams excelled in the event, which featured male and female competitors from the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
