The Sri Lanka Army boxers showcased remarkable prowess at the Seychelles Independence Day Boxing Meet 2024, held from 16 – 26 June 2024 at Seychelles.
Lance Corporal P.S.P.S Fernando of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, secured a gold medal in the 67-kilogram weight category, showcasing exceptional skill throughout the competition. Sergeant K.G.C Padmasiri of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps claimed a Silver Medal in the 75-kilogram weight category, further highlighting the Army's strong performance and competitive spirit on the international stage.
