SLSC Athlete Renews Her Pole Vault Record for Asian Athletic Championships

Corporal K.L Sachini Perera of Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC), broke her own 3.65 m previous Sri Lankan record in pole vault event in the second round of the selection contests and set a new Sri Lankan record of 3.70 m in the women's pole vault event qualifying for the upcoming Asian Athletics Championships.

The selection contests of Sri Lankan Athletes for the upcoming 2022 Asian Athletics Games in China were held at Diyagama Mahinda Rajapaksa stadium during 10 - 11 March with the participants of a number of Athletes, including Armed Force athletes.
