The Army Para-Beach Volleyball Tournament championship was won by players in the Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) pushing Special Force (SF) players to be the Runners-up and Sri Lanka National Guard team to be the 2nd Runner- up.
The Sri Lanka Engineers organized the Inter Regiment Army Para-beach volleyball competition in the artificially done beach patch at Panagoda inside the 1 Field Engineer Regiment Beach Volleyball Court during 23 - 24 July. The competition coincided with the 23rd Inter Regiment Para Competition 2022 of the Army.
The Center Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Brigadier Manoj Madurapperuma Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks witnessed the final match.
The following players performed well during the finals.
Best Setter - Staff Sergeant M.W Priyankara (SLLI)
Best Attacker - Sergeant H.M.S Bandara (SF)
Best Player - Corporal G.K.D Gamage (SLLI)
