The fall-out ceremony of the Provost Course - No 80 of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) was held on Friday (28) at the School of Military Police - Giritale where newly-trained 309 Military Policemen and women, including 74 Military Police women ceremonially received their 'Red Tops' caps after completion of their course for two months.
Major General Anil Illangakoon, Commander of Forward Maintenance Area - Mullaittivu and Colonel Commandant of SLCMP graced the event as the chief guest at the invitation of Colonel Seewali Rajanayaka, the Commandant at Giritale School of Military Police.
Following Other Ranks received awards from the Chief Guest as follows:
Staff Sergeant B.G.M.P Wijesooriya for the Best Platoon, Sergeant R.M.N.M Rathnayaka as the Best Platoon Sergeant, Corporal A.C.N.N Liyange as the Best Section Commander respectively. Other than those, below-mentioned Military Policemen and women secured titles against their names.

Private D.M.A.D Gnanatilaka - Best shooter
Private H.M.C.V Herath - Fittest recruit
Private S.M.I.P Rajasinghe - Best recruit (Woman Military Police)

Private K.K.A.C Sewwandi - Best shooter (Woman Military Police)
Brigadier Lakshman Bamunusinghe, the Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army was also present at the occasion.
