Fulfilling a long due requirement to have proper Gun Sheds to provide adequate shelter and protection to Artillery guns which were the main strength behind the victorious SL Army some time ago, new Gun Sheds are to be erected while renovating the existing ones at 10th Medium Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery, Rear Headquarters at Mudungoda.
Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda, Colonel Commandant prioritized his plans for the project after assuming office in conversation with the Commander Artillery Brigade who formulated and executed a prompt plan to meet the requirement.
Accordingly, Brigadier Chamila Munasinghe Commander Artillery Brigade on Wednesday (10) laid the foundation stone for the construction of the second half of the Gun Shed at 10th Medium Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery, Rear Headquarters at Mudungoda amid blessings of ‘Seth Pirith’.
