A five-day workshop, designed to enlighten service personnel serving the Security Forces Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) on environment, security, promotion of reconciliation, religious and cultural differences, ethnicity, co-existence, winning hearts and minds of Tamil people, LTTE’s international network, etc commenced on Monday (10) at the SFHQ-KLN auditorium.
A panel of lecturers, including Professor H.D Karunarathna, Dr Prathiba Mahanama, Mr H.M Jayathilaka, several Superintendents of Police, senior Army officers and a few others are conducting lectures during this workshop.
On the inaugural day of the workshop, Major General Udaya Perera, Commander, SFHQ-KLN opened the new lecture hall and residential quarters for visitors at Ampakamam Training School of the Army.
57, 58, 65 and 66 Division General Officers Commanding and several senior officers were associated with the simple opening ceremony.
