Commander, Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN), Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe on Wednesday (4) on account of 67th Independence Day visited Karunanilayam Women’s and Children’s Home in Kilinochchi where 35 school students, 20 mentally ill adults are housed.
Major General Ranasinghe on arrival at the home was received by Rev. S.K Daniel, Priest at Kilinochchi Lanka Sabha who is the guardian of the Home.
Afterwards, the SFHQ-KLN Commander offered a luncheon treat to all the members and distributed gift parcels among all inmates.
Similarly, Major General Ranasinghe spoke to them and inquired into their well-being and exchanged a few thoughts with them during his stay.
