Pledging to work harder and more diligently in the New Year 2013, Security Forces Headquarters – Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) commenced the year’s first working day after a get-together over a tea table on Tuesday (1).
Major General Udaya Perera, Commander, SFHQ-KLN personally met all ranks during the meet and congratulated each of them, including those newly-recruited woman soldiers of Kilinochchi who were present at the occasion.
Commander, SFHQ-KLN spoke a few words on the occasion and requested all to work harder for the benefit of the people in Kilinochchi. The day’s arrangement culminated with a tree planting drive.
SFHQ-KLN on December 30 and 31 launched two other programmes in connection with the festive season. This programme included a volleyball tournament and a musical night on Monday (31).
