Troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Central coordinated the donation of a large stock of school accessories among 106 children of under-privileged low income group families, resident in Gonamatawa, and Chandrasegaran Tamil Primary School in Haputale on the War Heroes’ Day (18 May).
Mr Anuk Fernando, who lives in the United States of America volunteered and extended generosity to this charity project through the coordination of Major General Samantha Silva, Commander, Security Forces - Central.
Commander, Security Forces - Central, the principal of the school, teachers and parents attend the event where 106 students were benefited.
