Major General Ranjan Lamahewage, Commander, Security Forces - Central (SF-C) during 16 - 17 March familiarized with his under command troops visiting the 11 Division Headquarters at first.
After his visit to the 11 Division Headquarters, he called at 111 Brigade HQ, 2 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR), at new Army hospital under construction at Pallekele, Sri Lanka Rifle Corps camp, Laxapana Power Station and 19 Sri Lanka National Guard camp and a few other places where he was greeted to Guard Turnout salutes and other formalities.
The visiting Central Commander also shared few thoughts with troops at respective places and left compliments in visitors' books.
He also made offerings to the sacred Temple of Tooth and received blessings of Mahanayake Theros of Malwatte and Asgiri Chapters. He also had brief interactive meetings with the Diyawadana Nilame and the Governor for Central Province.
Major General Sarada Samarakoon, General Officer Commanding, 11 Division together with Brigadier Rohitha Rathnayake, Commander 111 Brigade, Brigadier Anura Disanayake, Commander 112 Brigade, Commanding Officers and few senior officers were associated with these visits.
