Officers of the 58 Division HQ in Puttalam at the request of school authorities conducted an awareness programme for a group of school prefects at Wanathavilluwa Bandaranayakepura Vidyalaya on Monday (26) after inviting them to the 58 Division HQ premises.
They were educated on leadership traits, personal discipline, politeness, endurance, resolution of different social contexts and personality development. Troops of the 58 Division, in addition demonstrated a Drill Sequence and Obstacle clearing rehearsal to the gathering.
Major General Wipula Ihalage, General Officer Commanding of the 58 Division who approved the project closely supervised the day’s event.
Officers and Other Ranks fully supported the arrangement.
