Prior to his retirement, Major General Jagath Rathnayake, Commander, Security Forces-Mullaittivu paid visits to all under commander establishments during 16 -18 February.
As the first leg, he visited the 59 Division on Tuesday (16) to be received by Major General Manoj Lamahewa, General Officer Commanding 59 Division where the outgoing MLT Commander addressed the troops, planted a sapling and was awarded a memento.
He visited the 64 Division HQ on Wednesday (17) where Major General Manjula Karunrathna, General Officer Commanding, 64 Division welcomed the visiting Commander SF-MLT. The SF Commander addressed the troops, planted a sapling before he was awarded a memento.
Subsequently, he visited the 68 Division on 18 February and met Major General Upali Rajapaksha, General Officer Commanding 68 Division and the troops. He was welcomed and invited to address the troops. He left memories planting a sapling in the premises before he was awarded a memento.
