Representatives of Directorates Jointly Address Welfare Issues of Retired War Heroes

Representatives of the Directorate of Personnel Administration, Directorate of Pay and Records, Directorate of Army Medical Services, Directorate of Welfare, Directorate of Veteran Affairs, Directorate of Legal Services, Directorate of Army Benevolent Fund, Directorate of Army Preventive Medicine and Mental Health Services and Directorate of Rehabilitation with the aim of resolving any pending issues, concerns and matters, connected to welfare measures held a full day interactive consultative workshop at the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) Regimental HQ on Wednesday (26).

Brigadier Thushan Senaratna, Director, Directorate of Rehabilitation who took the initiative in this regard presided the arrangement, attended by respective section representatives and a group of retired War Heroes. The discussion attentively addressed the concerns of those attendees and organized remedial measures in consultation with respective representatives of different Directorates in the Army.

Deputy Director of the Directorate of Rehabilitation, Brigadier P.D.A.G Senadeera and several senior officers of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment's Regimental Center attended the occasion which lasted for more than five hours.
